Sometime you might want to try cinnamon - it's a great spice with beef, and a classic Moroccan pairing. Anyway, love the recipe, love the post - thanks!Kitchen Riffshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09334461438904669081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17839197.post-9728774977304722352011-12-21T12:33:25.733-08:002011-12-21T12:33:25.733-08:00Tamarind paste or concentrate is available on line...Tamarind paste or concentrate is available on line
here is one vendor, they might also have a lot of the other hard to find items you need, Sam
https://www.theethnicgrocer.com/tamarind-concentrate-tamico-1lb-176.htmlFJKramerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06139281691705572456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17839197.post-80159190704722595792011-12-21T11:56:50.277-08:002011-12-21T11:56:50.277-08:00I will have to wait for my next rip down so I can ...I will have to wait for my next rip down so I can get TamarindSamnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17839197.post-36497191724505841402011-12-21T11:53:56.905-08:002011-12-21T11:53:56.905-08:00That's why Crisco invented a spray like Pam (w...That's why Crisco invented a spray like Pam (which I hate)Samnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17839197.post-84859461467053770042011-12-20T23:59:49.872-08:002011-12-20T23:59:49.872-08:00Let me know how it turns out.

I, too ) love using chuck roast ( wouldn't matter since first cut brisket is not to be found here) onions, dried onion soup, ketchup (my grandmother's go to ingredient for every pot roast) and maybe some red wine. I cook it covered in the oven so I am sure not to burn it (a distinct possibility if I cook it on top of the stove)Samnoreply@blogger.com
